Introduction

This beautifully maintained 9-hole parkland course designed by Tom Morris in 1908 represents a challenge to golfers of all abilities. With a standard scratch score of 68 for men (71 for ladies) the 5900 yard layout provides many a test and the beautiful, tranquil setting and dramatic scenery combine to give you a day to remember .

The course and its surroundings are famous locally for the rich variety of wildlife. A pause on the 5th fairway is frequently rewarded with the sight of soaring buzzards or deer crossing the fairways, so golf is not the only pleasure of a round at Tarland.
